REVIZTO 5+ Clash Automation & EXPORT SCHEDULER

Basic Revizto Workflow overview
Even though the recent pricing model has been shifted to per/model from per/user,
It is still highly recommended Revizto be out of all clash coordination software.
It takes higher ground over other software like Navisworks since,
-
Stability
-
Simplified UI
-
Inherited Navis searchset system
-
Support automated export schedule, works with BIM360 and ACC
-
Advanced clash coordination preparation workflow through Clash Automation
-
Inter-Operability
-
Continuous updates and improvements
In the below workflow steps, the basic features of Revizto will be skipped-
Exporting from Revit Add-in, Importing sheets, Setting up Level/Grid/Zone from models, Retrieving the link with Revit live 3D view,
Basic navigation including measuring, Cropping 3D view, Object Trees, Properties window, Defining Searchsets, Saving Appearance Templates,
Setting up Stamps, ignoring clashes, Clashing types, Grouping, View & and screenshot settings, Issue Tracker Interface, etc.
All are set up by adhering to the Digital Engineering Execution Plan.
Only the Revizto+ Clash Automation Features and Revizto Export Scheduler will be covered.
Pre-requisite:
Revitzo+ License, Revizto 5 (5.7 above, Latest will be 5.13, please be aware that there was an update in clash test format from 5.12 -> 5.13 version.
And once upgraded to Revizto 5.13, the test set will be permanently locked in.
So better coordinate the future update from 5.12 to 5.13 throughout the office.
Revizto+ Issue Automation plays critical role in new clash detection workflow.
It supports clash grouping, automatic issue generation based on clash group, preset function for stamp/priority/Deadline/primary issue assignee/watchers/tags setting.
Recent update from Revizto 5 include clash automation.
Clash automation enables the Digital Engineer to setup the clash scenario in robust way.
Revizto+ will provide extra settings for authorisation.
These can be reviewed from Workspace - https://ws.revizto.com/

**Quick advise - Stamp setting and searchsets are predefined with my standard.
[Stamp Settings]

[Stamp Settings]

Clash Automation
1. Clash Automation Feature button
2. Multiple Clash Scenarios can be established

Detail automation settings can be access from right panel.

Once Issue automation enabled by clicking the button,
Multiple conditions can be configured.
Stamp/Priority/Deadline/Assignee/Wahters/Tags can be pre defined.
They can be by disciplines, certain searchsets that suits the best work efficiency considering BEP/DEEP deliverables.
These conditions can be amended throughout the Phases.

1&2 : Specific discipline related clash can be differentiated even further if required.
3 : IF condition enables the clash scenario to be configured more effective way - There are many sub-options can be defined
the amongst the conditions. Including has at least, doesn't have at least, has all, doesn't have all.
4 : Pre-Defined search sets can be applied.
5 : Pre-Defined Stamp settings can be applied - all nested settings will be populated automatically.

Issue Automation
Another powerful function of Clash automation would be the issue automation window pool.
From the window pool, issues can be managed strategically.
Specific purposes can filter the issues, and also strategically manageable as it provides the control of publicising the reviewed issues.
Issue automation window interface
-
Basic filters are available
-
Easy to notice the published issues in issue tracker, also provide direct access to them by double click.

Provides options to manage the individual issues by assigning the status, Only reviewed clahses can be selectively bulk published into Issue Tracker.
*Revizto+ 5.13 added "Hold" option as well.

Another best feature for the Issue automation window would be the integration with "advanced automation"
The filter allows the user to filter the issues not only by the selection but also able to filter by advanced automation clash sets defined earlier.

Specilised preset clash scenario defined earlier can be applied through Advanced Automation

BIM 4D Workflow
REVIZTO EXPORT SCHEDULER
This new feature made a big difference to Digital Engineering manager's life, in a better way.
Basically what it does is scheduling the automated export of your models any day, any time you would want - have it your way.
Since we usually have occurring clash workshops on certain day, whole discipline promised to share their discipline models through BIM360/ACC
on 2 days earlier of the clash workshop meeting.
Assuming whole discipline shared their model on time, it returns at least 1.5 hours of daily managing time to us since our machine is not exporting something!
I used to manage 6 projects models a week and you could tell how much time I have saved.
It definitely brings in EFFICIENCY.
So here's the step below.
From your usual Revit view-

I recommend turn off the box for sheet exportation so it can be excluded from weekday upload.

Two simple reasons for that-
-
We don't want to export half-cooked sheets into model. No one will be appreciated.
-
Once sheets are included into export, it takes way more time.
Considering our complete Cloud Revit model with multi-discipline models linked in,
Model size is usually kept under 2GB and export time takes less than an hour.
Considering Digital Engineers manage multiple project models at the same time,
I usually leave 2 hours gap in between the exports. (Ex. Model A export starts at 12am then Model B exports at 2am)

Export Scheduler works with any type of model in Revit.
Local, Work Shared, Cloud collaboration activated models.
Just like the BIM360, ACC collaboration supports the scheduled automatic publish.
